CCI IW26 Ink Degradent-Screen Wash - 5 Gallon
Water-soluble, low-odor, low-foam screen wash and ink degradent engineered for effective removal of plastisol, solvent-based, and UV screen printing inks while helping reduce mesh staining and ghost images during screen reclaiming.
Characteristics
The CCI IW-26 Ink Degradent / Screen Wash is a professional water-soluble cleaning chemistry designed for removing ink from screen printing mesh during routine cleaning and screen reclaiming. Its high-solvency formulation is highly effective on plastisol, multipurpose solvent-based, and UV screen printing inks, making it a versatile solution for textile, graphic, and industrial screen printing operations.
IW-26 is formulated to remove ink residue while helping protect screen mesh from deep staining and ghost images caused by the printed image. Reducing these stains during the initial ink-removal process can make complete screen reclamation easier and help prepare valuable screens for reuse.
In addition to routine ink removal, IW-26 is an excellent plastisol ink haze and ghost-image remover. Its aggressive cleaning action helps remove image stains remaining in the mesh while maintaining a non-corrosive, mesh-safe formulation.
IW-26 offers excellent flexibility for screen rooms using different cleaning processes. It can be used in recirculating screen wash systems, dip tanks, immersion cleaning processes, and automatic screen reclaiming machines. For manual cleaning, the chemistry can also be applied with a scrub pad, spray bottle, or pneumatic pump system.
The combination of low odor, low foam, high solvency, and high load capacity makes IW-26 particularly well suited for professional screen rooms processing screens on a regular basis. Its low-foam characteristics are beneficial in compatible automated and recirculating cleaning equipment, while the high load capacity helps the chemistry handle significant ink contamination before becoming excessively soiled.
IW-26 is also non-flammable, non-corrosive, mesh safe, and economical, and it can be diluted with water when appropriate for the cleaning application. The formulation does not contain Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APEO) or Nonylphenol Ethoxylates (NPEO).
